Do something irresponsible once a week. Because if you know me, you know I need that little escape.
Talk to a stranger at least once a week. Even if it’s just a compliment or a question. You never know who you’ll connect with!
Start and end my days with prayer. Especially waking with...

I just realized it would've been 4 years today.
It took me this long, and I didn’t even flinch when it hit me.
Thank God for the ability to put the past to rest, smile again and run without abandon into my bright and love-filled present and future.

Giving away those jeans from the 9th grade.
Because they’ve been haunting me, taunting me even, from my closet for two years now. I’m probably never going to be a size 2 ever again, and I need to be okay with that.
2012 is going to be full of healthy self love.

Bagging up tons of things for Goodwill tonight.
Because my life will be de-cluttered for 2012! Adios, high school Hollister shirts. I’m gagging.

I don't get the whole "sexy" thing.
I’ve never wanted to identify with that term, and to be honest, I perceive it as something insulting. What ever happened to being cute?
Cute is being comfortable in one’s own skin, embracing one’s flaws and making the most of them. Sexy just looks like a whole lot of striving.

PASSION IN SIX DAYS!
I am so ready for God to run a glorious train through my life and rock it to pieces.
lifeinblueandgold-deactivated20 asked: Your video about the things you hate makes me glad to call you my sister in Christ. Too many Christians are too uptight and take stuff way too seriously. Keep being rad =)
Anonymous asked: Your video about all the things you hate- It makes me hurt for you as a christian. There were so many harsh words and judgements :(

Spending my evening researching story ideas for...
I need something new, fresh and hard-hitting. It’s a lot harder than it sounds. So, I’ve taken the liberty of snooping through fellow college newspapers to see what topics are worn out and which ones aren’t.
If you have any ideas, please feel free to shoot ‘em to me here! It would be great to get an opinion from a collegian outside of Georgia, or even the South.

I'm watching episodes of "The City" tonight,
pretending like I’m Whitney Port, just starting out my life in New York. It won’t be much longer.
By the way, her book “True Whit” is actually pretty wonderful! I was a skeptic at first, but it’s full of practical advice for living on your own and living to your full potential. She’s great!
